Charity Recycling is a programme run by Fundraising for Charities, an under 16 fundraising organisation, which was founded in 2005 and parents help us raise funds too.
Our programmes enables schools, clubs, charities and individuals to recycle their empty ink cartridges, mobile/cell phones and toner cartridges and get 90% profit with the remaining 10% supporting the fundraising work of Fundraising for Charities.
As all of Fundraising for Charities gross profit from fundraising events go to the charities it’s in aid of, we use that 10% to fund items for our organisation and events as all the funding for these items usually comes from our own pockets.
But those whishing to recycle for a charity are able to request a freepost envelope and when the items are processed it will show the supporter who is supporting that charity, via the barcode and the value of their items which then we will forward to that charity.
Our aim is to get people recycling and reducing landfill waste and at the same time, raising funds for important causes that change lives.
